Speech and Language Therapist (1050)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist, (S&LT) who shares our vision. The Speech and Language Therapist will work within a trans-disciplinary team, and will contribute to planning, adaptation, monitoring and reporting of the Learners access to and progress through their personalised study programme related to their particular area of specialism. The SaLT will have responsibility for assessment of needs within their scope of practice and contribute to setting discrete learning targets.

You will achieve this through providing high-quality speech and language therapy advice and support across the three tiers of support (universal, targeted and specialist).

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in using clinical reasoning skills and setting appropriate goals in complex cases
  • Effectively applies specialist speech and language therapy skills and knowledge with children and /or young people who have autism and other co-occurring conditions to improve outcomes
  • Applies the latest research evidence and evaluative thinking to practice
  • Manages a complex caseload and prioritises and delegates effectively.
